MESSAGE FROM CEO
Often I am asked, isn’t this just a little too much government intervention in our lives? I would like to state for the record in nearly all circumstances I am clearly on the side of smaller government and personal responsibility. Unfortunately, there are times in life when human behavior finds a way to cast a shadow of darkness so severe that we must act to prevent collateral damage. This is one of those times.
Use of a cell phone is not a right, but a privilege and we must respect it for everything that it is and realize we are not somehow magically immune to its dangers. The cell phone is much greater than a simple toy capable of doing some really cool things. I believe the cell phone may be one of the greatest inventions ever known, but please understand it was never envisioned to be smuggled contraband, facilitate massive cheating and disruption among students, cause an accident every 47 seconds or be a terrorist bomb trigger. The reality is the cell phone has quickly become the key ingredient in many disastrous recipes and we must not let good judgment be overtaken by our addiction for these cool gadgets. I am 100% certain these problems will only get worse unless we act. The clear and best answer is to increase the functionality of our mobile devices to include a simple set of standard safety protocols. Protocols that should have been implemented many years ago.
I respectfully ask you to sit back and think about the incredible magnitude and the serious danger of these problems. Here is a little food for thought. More people die on our roads every year due to cell phone distracted driving than did in the 911 attacks plus the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars combined. More than 100,000 illegal cell phones will find their way behind prison cell walls this year. This greatly exacerbates a criminal’s ability to orchestrate crimes even while incarcerated. In a recent survey, more than 50% of high school teacher’s admitted to having frequent problems in their classroom due to cell phones. I ask you honestly to ponder the question – Do you think these problems are going go away on their own??? I think we both know the answer.
Technology created these problems and only technology can put them to rest. Try Safety First has invented technology and a corresponding business model to eliminate each of the problems FREE of charge. It is my objective to pass regulations across the globe to establish a uniform global standard though out the wireless industry to include TSF Protocols in the system firmware of all wireless communication devices. Please contact me if you would like to join me in this endeavor.
